A city where you will be happy to live, study, or wander in…. Lyon  is the second largest French city and it enjoys a rich architectural heritage and lively cultural activities. It is a creative and innovative city. In 2010, Lyon won the first prize “Liveable Communities” through a competition gathering forty cities around the world. Lyon is seen as a young, vibrant, international and quite festive city. It is also known as the French capital of gastronomy. Lyon and the Rhône-Alpes Region are home to 8 universities and 40 “Grandes Ecoles” gathering 200,000 students.

Sciences Po - Lyon

Sciences Po Lyon is a public institution of higher education whose mission is to train public and private sector managers. It offers five-year training programmes in three interconnected areas: Public Affairs, International Affairs and Communication. Benefiting from 60 years of training experience, Sciences Po Lyon students acquire a wide academic knowledge and a high degree of professionalism, which are praised on the labour market.

Master in Public Policies and Government

The master in Public Policies and Government offers exchange opportunities for students of partner universities in two areas:
-    Policy analysis and comparative public policies;
-    Evaluation and monitoring of policies and programmes;
As far as Evaluation is concerned, a part of the training is delivered in English and English can be used as the active language. Students however need to use French as a passive language (listening and reading) at least.

•    Sciences Po Lyon hosts several students per year during the 1st semester, mainly in the Evaluation area. Outgoing students go abroad in the 1st semester of their second year.
