Liverpool
Liverpool is not just about the Beatles, football or wisecracks. It’s all these things - and none of them. It’s about being one of the most vibrant, life-affirming and creative cities in the UK. The Liverpool of today is a changed city. It’s emerging as one of the UK’s leading centres for learning, culture, entertainment, sport and endeavour. The award of European Capital of Culture 2008 has confirmed this - and the University is at the heart of it all.
Liverpool offers endless possibilities for everyone - so whatever you’re into, you can be certain that you’ll enjoy life to the full at the very heart of our city.

Master of Public Administration
The MPA is a well-established and highly-regarded programme of postgraduate training for employment in the public or voluntary sectors. It seeks to blend a traditional Masters level qualification with the practical skills needed for the distinctive contemporary public sector environment.
The MPA is designed to appeal to both recent graduates with limited experience of employment in public sector organisations, as well as middle or senior managers who wish to add further academic skills and qualifications to their existing vocational and practical expertise. Students on the programme come from across the world, bringing a wealth of different perspectives to the study of public administration and to the student experience on the programme.
The MPA is organised as a one-year, full-time or a two year, part-time Masters qualification. Full-time MPA students follow a 52-week programme consisting of six core compulsory modules, three elective modules and a dissertation of max. 20.000 words.
